The situation
A Romanian accountancy group operating through six issuing entities ran its practice on a closed SaaS platform. The data was theirs; the ability to do anything with it was not.
What we built
Extraction
The platform had no usable export, so an authenticated Playwright walk produced one: clients, projects, tasks and the custom fields carrying most of the practice knowledge, into JSON, CSV and a derived catalogue workbook.
System of record
Parties, contacts, clients and receivables on the forktex substrate, with ingest and reconciliation run against real source data — the data that has the duplicates, the renamed entities, and the records present in one entity’s books and not another’s.
Registry enrichment
ANAF, VIES and ONRC clients, so a client record is verified against the authoritative register rather than trusted from whenever it was typed in.
Mailing automation
Per-tenant document-request and broadcast campaigns with notices, delivery attempts and locking, so a client is not chased twice by two entities on the same day.
What mattered
Extraction was the easy half. The exported data described a system of record that no longer existed, so reconstructing what the fields meant had to happen before anything downstream could rely on them.
Outcome
Six issuing entities consolidated onto one system of record. Live and ongoing.
